I took part as a guest curator to the project #exstrange, an online initiative mobilized by curators Marialaura Ghidini and Rebekah Modrak on the commercial platform of eBay. I commissioned auctions-as-artworks to artists Niko Princen, Eva+Franco Mattes and Garrett Lynch. While at it, I delved into the platform's history, community and technical protocols, discovering the fascinating history of its algorithm Cassini.

Tyżlik-Carver at The Photographers Gallery in 2017 and wrote an essay for the catalogue of the project #exstrange.
