CURATING PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE NETWORKED IMAGE ECONOMY

NETWORKED CO-CURATION, 2019-22

From 2019 to 2022, I was part of a dream team with Katrina Sluis and Nicolas Malevé at the Lucerne University of Art and Design, mapping the unexplored intersections between the fields of social media curating, computational curating and post-photography curating. With them, I conducted Skype interviews with computer scientists and content curation gurus, organised online and offline workshops, plotted nerdy academic publications and travelled to computer vision labs and media art festivals.

We have published some of the research findings in the DATA browser 10 publication. More to come, stay tuned! 🔥
